Assoc. Prof. Selim Çagatay Currently teaching microeconomics at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Previously, used to teach computable general equilibrium models and environmental and natural resource economics in the postgraduate program. Director of the Centre for Economic Research on Meditterranean Countries and leading the Policy Analysis and Modeling Group (PAMG) in the same Centre. Has worked as a consultant in various national/international projects and currently co-ordinating two projects financed by The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey. Leading the Partner Country Team in the FP7 project “Sustainable Mediterranean” financed by The European Union. Research interests include applied policy analysis, agriculture-macroeconomy-environment interactions, rural poverty and sustainable development.
